Lauren Jauregui is a singer and songwriter from the United States. He is a member of the Fifth Harmony group. Jauregui began experimenting with different voices and explored writing solo songs and collaborating with Marian Hill, Steve Aoki and Halsey. She began working on his debut solo album since May 2018, signing a contract with Columbia Records. She released his debut solo single “Expectations” and her music video in October 2018. In January 2019, she released the song “More Than That”. Jauregui’s debut album will be released in 2020.
Jauregui was born in Miami, Florida, the daughter of Michael Jauregui and Clara Morgado, who both come from Cuba. Her father was a factory manager and her mother was a teacher, who moved to the United States when Fidel Castro came to power. Jauregui has Cuban and part of Spanish descent. She has two younger siblings. Jauregui attended Catholic schools from kindergarten through sixth grade. She then attended the Carrollton of the Sacred Heart School, a college preparatory school for all Catholic girls in Miami. She was in the school’s International Baccalaureate program, and participated in the talent and Sofbol team performances. During her school days, Jauregui expressed himself through art, when he enjoyed “constantly creating”, singing, writing, dancing, choreography, playing the piano and painting.
