Damian Lamonte Ollie Lillard Sr. also known as Damian Lillard, is one of the best players competing in the NBA. He played point guard position for the Portland Trail Blazers. His work as a professional basketball player was not as smooth as one might imagine. Even Lillard got scolded throughout his career in the basketball world.
Damian Lillard was born in Oakland. This is one of the most dangerous areas in America. He grew up in a bad environment. Lillard’s small body often gets harassment from gangsters in the area. Lillard gave in to circumstances. He ventured against the harassers.
Lillard did not want to enter into the wrong association. He tried to shift his world into basketball. Slowly Lillard began to fond of this one sport. Lillard spends her time in the gym. He practiced every day, from morning to night. Even the gym owner said he had to come early so Lillard could come in and practice. When entering college, Lillard was fortunate to have a small university that would accept him, namely Weber State.
It was here that Lillard’s career began to change. Lillard developed with the Weber State basketball team. He was able to beat a team from a large university that had refused it. In fact he also defeated several people who had abused himself while sitting in high school. Loyalty and his impressive playing at Weber State led Lillard to be promoted to the NBA draft in 2012. He was finally chosen by the Blazers and successfully became the rookie of the year at that time.
