The above slider image is a collection of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice wallpaper. The Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 22, 2019. Behind the familiar gameplay design, the latest game from From Software – Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be their first soul-like game to miss character customization and online mutliplayer features. This game will fully be a single-player playing experience. Of course it is a tough decision to leave these two favorite features, but From Software wants to experiment with this new IP.
Through his interview with Game Informer, Yasuhiro Kitao, marketing and communication manager from From Software explain if they want Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice becomes a game with its own identity. The customization and online features are a feature that they really love, but specifically for this game, the two games are abandoned and will be back for another project they are working on.
Kitao also explained if they wanted to experiment with the spiritual game level design – this successor from Tenchu. When making games such as Dark Souls, various considerations must be considered more deeply so that there is no space that can be exploited by gamers that can damage PvE or PvP sessions. But with this game apart from the limitations of the multiplayer, designers can design levels as freely as possible and let players use mechanics and design levels as creatively as they want.
Another good side that comes from the absence of multiplayer is of course the existence of the pause button and you are no longer bothered by invasion of other players while continuing the progress.
